NFPA 1670/1006 Vehicle Rescue Educational Program series

The content explains the different levels of vehicle rescue education that most departments look for. It follows the NFPA program, which is a step-by-step approach to the problem.

  • Awareness level: This program focuses on recognizing hazards.
  • Operations level: It builds on hazard recognition by teaching tools, skills, mindset, and methodology needed to effectively respond to a motor vehicle crash.
  • Technician level: This level hones and enhances the skills, abilities, and knowledge gained from the previous levels. It includes advanced tool skills, the ability to mitigate hazards, and a higher operational tempo for students to excel in.

North America Moditech Crash Recovery Solution

In 2018, RoadwayRescue will start working with Moditech and its Crash Recovery Software (CRS). CRS, along with its iOS version iCRS, is a helpful tool for responders during motor vehicle emergencies.

ESRS Program Emergency Services Rally School

This unique educational program is the only one of its kind in the world. It offers a 20-hour intensive course for emergency responders, with 30% in-class instruction and 70% practical training. During the program, students are fully immersed in the world of rally and have the opportunity to use the latest equipment technology to handle emergencies. The practical skills covered range from rescue techniques and patient management to fire suppression and extrication. This program is officially recognized by SFI and the American Rally Association, and it is done in partnership with the Team O’Neill Rally School.
